Job Title: Sales Executive HVAC

Location: Atherton, Greater Manchester

Based within the sales department, you will work closely with the Sales Office Manager, and Sales Director to help prospective customers understand our products, provide them with quotations and designs (completed by estimating team) for their project, nurture them through the sales process, and ultimately take their order. This is a customer-facing position, requiring a proactive attitude towards new and existing customers as well as a positive and professional manner.

This role is office based within a close-knit small sales team, working under experienced management with extensive product knowledge. Initially, full training will be provided on key industry subjects and product training.

Initially, your sales values will range from £1000 to £25,000 pounds, with some customer journeys lasting from days up to months. You will benefit from a detailed and well-constructed CRM system with integrated customer tasks, reminders and notifications systems. The sales processes are well established and have been backed up with a wide range of supporting documentation, product information, and example communications to assist your members with their development and understanding. You will receive direct systems, technical and sales support from the Technical Coordinator, Sales Office Manager, and Sales Director.

Opportunity to progress from domestic B2C sales to a more specification and commercial project-based role with order values ranging from £25,000 - £ 1 million.

We are seeking someone to work directly on commercial projects in the Healthcare, Residential and Modular Construction sectors.

What You´ll Do:

Management of sales process, and customer experience, from the point of enquiry through to order including:

  • Dealing with new sales enquiries and responding to customer questions and queries
  • Understanding customer requirements, getting to know the project and supporting the customer's understanding of the product and process
  • Submitting Quotations to customers, along with providing supporting information
  • Chasing up quotations, assisting in customer understanding
  • Negotiating the sale including arranging installation dates, facilitating site visits, or liaising with local installation teams
  • Closing the sale, with the assistance of the office manager and processing of orders.
