Position: Systems Engineer
About the Role: We are looking for a talented and motivated System Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and implementing custom communication systems tailored to meet the unique requirements of our customers. You will work closely with production teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution from design through to commissioning.
Client: Our client provides satellite and radio communication services, offering secure and high-quality voice and data services worldwide, regardless of location or time. It also delivers customized system solutions tailored to specific customer needs.
The organization operates across several countries, including Several European countries, Singapore, and the USA, employing approximately 250 people globally.

Location: Hamburg, Germany + up to 6 Days/Month Remote
What You´ll Do:
- System Design and Engineering: Develop customer-specific communication system solutions based on detailed customer requirements, including system design and engineering.
- Configuration and Commissioning: Support production teams by configuring and commissioning communication systems, ensuring they meet the specified design parameters.
- Technical Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for technical clarification and coordination with customers and suppliers, ensuring all parties are aligned on project specifications and timelines.
- Testing and Verification: Conduct examinations and functional verifications of systems to ensure they operate as intended and meet quality standards.
- Technical Support: Address and resolve technical inquiries related to our products and system solutions, providing expert guidance to both internal teams and external customers.
- Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation and training materials to support the deployment and maintenance of communication systems.
What We´ll Expect:
- Educational Background: A technical degree, state-certified technician qualification, or equivalent experience as a career changer.
Professional Experience: Initial experience in the design and engineering of electronic systems, particularly in the communication or IT sectors.
- General technical understanding with knowledge in communication and/or IT systems.
- Basic IT skills, particularly proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong proficiency in both German and English.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to be assertive and confident in technical discussions.
Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally as required for project implementation and customer support.
