We are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant for one of our clients in Bolton.

Position: Administrative Assistant

Location: Onsite in Bolton

Starting Date: July/August 2024

Salary: 22-24k GBP per annum

Hours: Full-time, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Additional hours may be required depending on workload.

Job Overview:

The Administrative Assistant will play a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining compliance with FCA regulations.

This position requires high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage administrative tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Compliance: Act in a compliant way and be aware of the FCA compliance procedures.

- Procedures: Follow all company procedures as instructed. If unsure of the procedure, seek advice from management.

- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to new and existing customers over the telephone and in person, focusing on resolving queries in an efficient, accurate, and professional manner.

- Customer Experience: Take maximum opportunity to enhance customer experience and exceed expectations at all times, acting in the interests of the client and insurer.

- Documentation: Ensure all client documentation is issued correctly and all internal records are kept up to date.

- Market Awareness: Keep up to date with developments in products and market changes in accordance with current marketing trends and scheme facilities.

- Training: Record and participate in training requirements, including online training, sourcing of material, reading emails and other training materials, and providing an up-to-date training record when requested by management.

- Communication: Keep management updated with all developments and provide evidence of training and other relevant information as required.

- Support: Assist the sales department and management with all day-to-day tasks.

- Post-Sale: Handle post-sale tasks, including change of address and Q checks.

- Error Management: Correct errors made by the sales team and report them to management for a decision on how the error should be corrected.

- Confidentiality: Maintain client and company confidentiality outside the work environment.

Experience:

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

- Proficiency in using office software and systems.

- Knowledge of FCA compliance procedures is preferred.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Professional demeanour and customer-focused attitude.
