Position: Inventory Team Leader
About the Role: This role is integral to the efficient operation of the company's logistics and warehouse management. The position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can manage the timely and accurate execution of global transport operations, including customs clearance and documentation. The role involves both strategic oversight and hands-on participation in warehouse activities, ensuring that all processes adhere to quality and safety standards.
As the responsible party for warehouse management, the role demands a strong leader who can motivate and guide the team while maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment. The individual will also play a key role in identifying and implementing process improvements within the logistics function, driving efficiency and effectiveness across operations. The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy under pressure is crucial.
This role requires a professional with substantial experience in customs clearance, dangerous goods management, and logistics services, along with a solid understanding of merchandise management systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015. Strong leadership qualities, teamwork, flexibility, and reliability are essential to success in this role.

The organization operates across several countries, including Several European countries, Singapore, and the USA, employing approximately 250 people globally.

What You´ll Do:
- Timely Execution of Worldwide Transports: Oversee and ensure the prompt execution of global transport operations.
- Preparation of Shipping and Customs Documents: Ensure the accurate preparation of all necessary shipping and customs documentation.
- Customs Declaration and Clearance: Handle the correct execution of customs declarations and clearances, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Warehouse Management: Manage all aspects of the warehouse, including picking, storage, and shipping packaging.
- Active Participation in Warehouse Operations: Engage directly in day-to-day warehouse management tasks.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of logistics processes.
- Maintaining Storage Area: Ensure that the storage area remains clean and organized, adhering to the 5S methodology.
- Compliance with Quality and Safety Standards: Guarantee adherence to quality and safety standards within the warehouse environment.
What We´ll Expect:
- Vocational Training: Completed vocational training in wholesale and foreign trade or freight forwarding and logistics services.
- Experience: Several years of experience in customs clearance, dangerous goods management (including qualifications as a dangerous goods advisor), warehousing, and transport organization.
- System Proficiency: Experience with merchandise management systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrated leadership abilities, strong teamwork skills, flexibility, reliability, and resilience.
