Position: Junior Cloud Engineer
Who You Are:
As a Junior Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in
supporting our cloud infrastructures, ensuring stability, security,
and optimal performance.
This position offers an excellent
opportunity for a tech-savvy individual looking to gain hands-on
experience in cloud technologies while working alongside experienced
professionals.
What You´ll Do:
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of Azure and other cloud services.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance and security concerns, proactively addressing any issues.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud services and applications.
- Assist in the implementation of security best practices to protect cloud resources and data.
- Participate in regular backup and disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in cloud technologies.
- Document procedures and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
- Provide technical support and assistance to external stakeholders.
What It Takes:
- A degree in
computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies, with a
strong interest in Azure.
- Familiarity with cloud service providers, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google
Cloud Platform, is a plus.
- Knowledge of
networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Able to hit the ground running.
- Relevant
certifications, such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, are a plus but
not required.
