Position: Junior Cloud Engineer

Who You Are: As a Junior Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our cloud infrastructures, ensuring stability, security, and optimal performance.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a tech-savvy individual looking to gain hands-on experience in cloud technologies while working alongside experienced professionals.

What You´ll Do:

  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of Azure and other cloud services.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance and security concerns, proactively addressing any issues.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud services and applications.
  • Assist in the implementation of security best practices to protect cloud resources and data.
  • Participate in regular backup and disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in cloud technologies.
  • Document procedures and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to external stakeholders.

    What It Takes:

    • A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
    • Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies, with a strong interest in Azure.
    • Familiarity with cloud service providers, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, is a plus.
    • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
    • Able to hit the ground running.
    • Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, are a plus but not required.
