Technical Training Manager Sustainable Heating Solutions to join its dynamic team.

What You´ll Do:

  • Product Education: Lead the development and delivery of comprehensive training programs for distributors, merchants, and installers. Your expertise will empower them to confidently promote, sell, and install its cutting-edge and patented product systems. This will involve providing both virtual training and in-person training at locations throughout the UK.
  • Training Strategy: Develop a strategic roadmap for education and training that aligns with the company's growth objectives. As they embrace the opportunities presented by Net Zero legislation, your input will be crucial in shaping their training initiatives.
  • Internal Skill Development: Work closely with the internal staff to identify skill gaps and provide continuous learning opportunities. By fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and professional development, you will contribute to the company's success.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the heating industry, sustainable technologies, and relevant regulations. Your insights will help the client to stay at the forefront of the market and maintain their competitive edge.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and consistent messaging across all educational materials and initiatives.

What it Takes:

  • Education and Experience: Industry qualification in a relevant field and proven experience in education, training, or a related role. Previous experience in the heating industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication abilities, both in writing and verbally. You can effectively convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strategic Mindset: A strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute training plans that support company goals and leverage growth opportunities.

Day in the Life:

  • Conducting virtual and in-person training sessions for external partners, including distributors, merchants, and installers, to educate them on the technical aspects, performance, and installation of the patented products.
  • Collaborating with national distributors and partners to organize and deliver on-site training sessions at various locations around the UK, ensuring consistent and accurate product information reaches all corners of the market.
  • Developing and executing an internal training plan to upskill existing team members, fostering their growth within the company and the heating industry.
  • Identifying funding opportunities for professional development courses and partnering with organizations like GM Chamber of Commerce and Skills for Growth to enhance the skill set of the internal team.
  • Leading the onboarding process for new team members, providing comprehensive training to ensure they grasp the technical details of the patented products and align with the company culture and values.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the heating industry, sustainable technologies, and relevant regulations to incorporate cutting-edge knowledge into training materials and initiatives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure seamless integration of training efforts with company objectives.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs, gathering feedback from participants, and continuously refining the curriculum to improve the overall training experience.
  • Contributing to the strategic vision of the company by leveraging training and education as key drivers for growth and success in the face of Net Zero legislation.
