Job Title: Finance Administrator

Location: Atherton, Greater Manchester

The primary goal of this position is to oversee the day-to-day financial activities within the company.

Furthermore, this role will assist with various administrative duties to ensure the efficient operation of the organization and maintain compliance with all relevant legislative requirements by keeping documentation current.

What You´ll Do:

  • Recording and reporting:
    • Ensure accurate financial records are kept. Including, but not limited to Daily bank reconciliations, inputting of purchase invoices, daily/weekly income reconciliations, and monthly supplier & sales reconciliations.
    • Process payment runs to suppliers. Liaise with key suppliers on any timing issues
    • Produce and file quarterly VAT returns
    • Ensure sales are transferred from the CRM and recorded accurately, with payments received reflected correctly in the financial records.
    • Input and balance all credit card invoices and payments
    • Work with the external accountant to ensure accurate records and detailed monthly information can be produced.
    • Support staff admin duties such as:
      • Absence recording
      • Accident book update
    • Ad-hoc requests to support other areas of the administration of the business.
