Position: IT Support Technician

Reporting Line: Education Service Manager

Hours of service: Mon - Fri Between 08:00 and 17:00

Location: Lingfield, Surrey

Our client is an education technology specialist and has ave a proven track record working with independent schools and colleges to deliver enterprise-grade IT systems, support and knowledge that enable quality, innovation and excellence in education.

- Salary: Up to £28,000

- Holidays 22 days increasing by 1 day per year of service up to 25


You will undertake a broad range of tasks, including maintaining the University's IT network and delivering excellent service to staff and students.

- Assist in maintaining the school’s network

- Resolving 1st/2nd support tickets within the helpdesk

- Installing new software and upgrading existing applications

- Providing technical support for teachers and pupils

- Routine maintenance of classroom IT

- Maintenance and management of hardware peripherals

- Ensuring systems are safe for pupil use

- Testing and fixing IT devices

What you bring to the Table:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Ability to solve problems

- Confident in working autonomously and as part of a team

- 2+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance

- Windows Server administration experience

- Experience in a customer-facing role

- An IT accreditation would be advantageous

- Ability to prioritise
