Whom Will You Report To? Directly to the CEO.

What Are The Hours Of Work? Such hours as necessary to carry out your duties. This may include working outside normal office hours in evenings and weekends and on Public Holidays, and extended periods of travel around the UK and overseas where appropriate

Where Will You Be Based? At Leigh Sports Village in Leigh, Greater Manchester.

Who Are You?

  • You are passionate about the beautiful game of Rugby League.
  • You have a strong background and experience in managing all sectors within a professional sports club and/or Elite Sport.
  • You have a network in Rugby League and/or Elite Sport.
  • You will work closely with the board to ensure all sectors across the business are effective and efficient, whilst striving to continually improve performance.
  • You are a hardworking individual that has excellent people skills and is motivated to manage and deliver all aspects and expectations within the business.
  • You have strong administrative skills and take on responsibility for all department records.
  • You have an eye for detail and think outside the box.
  • You are highly organised, thrive on challenges and have the ability to prioritise work in line with schedules from either the Leigh Leopard´s board or those of the governing body.
  • You are proactive and strive to continually improve performance.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills enabling you to present information to varying audiences including external suppliers, partners, sponsors and agents.
  • You have an advanced level of Microsoft Office.

What Will You Do?

  • You work with Leigh Sports Village and its own staff to ensure effective delivery of the game day experience.
  • You oversee all commercial & off-field activities and report back to the board.
  • You support the Rugby department including the Woman’s SL team, Junior development, PDRL & LDRL teams ensuring all rules of the relevant RFL governing body Code of Conduct, Operational Rules, Standards, and Guidelines have been adhered to.
  • You attend board meetings when required and roll out/deliver the expectations through Leigh Leopards staff and contractors when applicable.
  • You work on budget controls and continually strive to improve standards.
  • You liaise with the club's foundation and all its ongoing programmes within the community and gameday.
